“The best of an art fair

in a single day”

Studiolo is a one-day selling exhibition set in innovative and impactful locations, breaking from the standard multi-day art fair. Studiolo was created to provide established galleries and dealers with new and unique spaces to engage with fresh audiences and enjoy the best elements of a traditional fair in a single day.

Studiolo takes its name from the Italian word for a room dedicated to the display and contemplation of fine works, specifically in Renaissance palaces.

WHAT WE DO

Studiolo is an opportunity to celebrate pre-contemporary art in a unique setting that speaks of the high standing of the galleries present, creating an experience for collectors that is unique and impactful which forms the basis for developing lasting relations.

We select a number of world class galleries and dealers to present just one or two works to display and we collaborate with illustrious and established brands to bring new audiences and a fresh perspective. Mindful of the evolving trends in collecting and of the changing ways in which individuals access and acquire art, our aim is to build a sustainable alternative to the traditional art fair model by working with esteemed local galleries, dealers and collaborators in new locations, in different cities and for a one-day only event.

At the heart of Studiolo is a focus on collectors – private and institutional – and on introducing a wider range of collectors to pre-contemporary art.

In 2026, Studiolo will once again take place in London, alongside an expansion into the global market with editions planned in Paris and New York.

WHO WE ARE

Studiolo was founded in 2024 by collector Sebastien Paraskevas and by gallery director Alesa Boyle, co-founders of Trois Crayons, the Drawings Hub. Their goal is to support and strengthen the market for pre-contemporary art, encompassing paintings, sculpture and decorative arts.

Studiolo is led by Amelia Tomlinson, who brings over ten years of experience in the Art World, previously as Director of a long-standing dealer-led intitiative in London and prior to that with one of London’s top Old Master galleries.

UPCOMING EVENTS

We are delighted to announce an exciting international programme for 2026.

Studiolo will once again take place in London, alongside an expansion into the global market with editions also in Paris and New York. Each city showcases Studiolo’s mission to enhance the art market in multiple different regions - bringing the new and exciting concept to both mainland Europe and North America for the first time.
